Make an overlay feel at home in your LIVE.
A readable overlay scene starts with the information your audience needs, then placement, size and a complete rehearsal.
1. Choose one purpose
Use a goal for shared progress, a ranking for participation or a timer for a time-based experience. The timer can be used across LIVE formats, not only games.
2. Add the product’s browser source
Use the browser-source address provided by your installed VIEWERVOLT application. Add a Browser Source in OBS, or the applicable link source in LIVE Studio when available for your setup. Keep the local application running.
3. Design for the smallest screen
Leave space for your face, game or lesson. Review text at phone size, avoid covering important content, and select colors that remain readable over your scene.
4. Rehearse a change
Trigger a supported test interaction and watch the full result. For a timer, verify that your configured rule produces the intended change. Check the normal and finished states.
5. Check before every broadcast
Confirm that the browser source loads, that VIEWERVOLT is ready, and that the overlay matches the scene you will use. If a source is blank, check its address and visibility before changing unrelated settings.
